The largest international MMA event in Malaysia, the “FIRE CAGE Fighting Championship,” is set to take place for the first time on February 22, 2025. This event boasts an unprecedented scale in Malaysia and will be held at the Nilai N9 ARENA. Over 30 top fighters from 11 countries around the world will compete in Malaysia’s only custom cage, which meets world standards (30 feet across / 9.1 meters). The event will feature two main title matches and several special fights.
In the main event, Brazil’s Gleison Tibau will make his appearance. Known for his exceptional ground skills, he has extensive experience and has battled against world champions. Standing across from him will be Japan’s Kiichi Kunimoto, a highly agile fighter with great grappling and striking skills. The co-main event will see Rolando Dy face off against Diego Nunes, both of whom are accomplished fighters who have competed at top international events.
Additionally, don’t miss the grappling super fight exclusive to “FIRE CAGE FC.” Malaysia’s number one, Agilan Thani, will take on Ireland’s Garath Vaughan, who has been crowned a two-time European champion in major BJJ events and achieved double champion status in 2023.
